File Name: IPB3 Global Footer Disclaimer
File Submitter: Mat Barrie (Fusion Digital)
File Submitted: 09 Jul 2010
File Updated: 10 Jul 2010
File Category: Invision Board Modifications

This hook will allow you to easily append a disclaimer to your forum in the footer. This disclaimer will carry between upgrades without a single template edit.

Features:
  • Enable/Disable Disclaimer
  • HTML/BBCode support

Very basic, but does the job. The original version of this file utilised a Template Hook to achieve this. The latest version achieves the same result by amending the copyright to include your custom text.

I've made some tweaks, and re-upped a new version. This one changes things up in the way it overrides the template (basically, hit it with a bigger hammer) but should be more style friendly. It'll append the custom disclaimer inside the footer DIV, so it'll come out the same font and stuff as the IPS disclaimer.
