Fusion Menu 1.2 for IP.Board 3.2 Now Available

For those of you who have been waiting for the 3.2 compatible release of Fusion Menu, wait no more!

Fusion Menu v1.2 has now been released, to address compatibility with IP.Board 3.2. New features also include the ability to disable tracking active tabs (so that navigation tabs do not highlight if you are in the application they link to).

As this marks a release for a major IP.Board version, this starts the clock towards EOL for prior versions of Fusion Menu. In twelve months, on the 1st August 2012, Fusion Digital will be obseleting any versions of Fusion Menu designed for IP.Board 3.1.4 and earlier. Until then, we will continue to support the 3.1 series, although these prior versions may not receive the complete feature set. Where possible, any features will be available on both versions, however this cannot be guaranteed for features reliant on functionality of IP.Board 3.2.

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers, past and future, for their support and hope you continue to enjoy our products.

For the last couple of years Chronicle has been available, we've been selling it via a company called FastSpring, in US dollars. While FastSpring was good, great even, their service wasn't really ideal for our needs (as the Inland Revenue Department pointed out). So during that time we've been biding our time, waiting for a mature...

Read more and comment...

Order Process Changes

Greetings everyone,

Over the next week, some changes will occur in the way orders are processed here for both premade products and custom projects. At the moment, the way this works is that for premade products we link you to our current payment processor, FastSpring, and you pay there via PayPal or Credit Card. For projects, you are usually given a link to pay via PayPal.

From the coming week, these options will disappear. As of the coming week, we are changing to a direct processing model. What this means is that details you previously entered on FastSpring or PayPal's website will now be entered directly into our system, and payment will be made via our credit card facility, hosted by DPS/Payment Express. We will no longer be supporting PayPal at all without prior arrangement.

As part of this, prices will also need to change as we will no longer be able to process in US dollars. The new pricing is below.

Please note that the price change is accompanied by a change in currency. These may look like price increases, but they really aren't.

Fusion Menu for IP.Board
Old Price: $15 USD
New Price: $19 NZD

ibContact
Old Price: $39 USD
New Price: $49 NZD

Chronicle (due to technical reasons, this product will be delayed)
Old Price: $29 USD
New Price: $39 NZD

At first glance, these prices may appear to be increases. However, the change from US Dollars to New Zealand Dollars should result in either a net saving or roughly the same price.

If you have any questions or concerns about this change, please contact our sales or support teams for assistance.

Fusion Menu v1.1.3 Available, Partner Program Announcement

Greetings and welcome to the first Fusion Digital product newsletter. At some point, you signed up for updates on our products via the newsletter link on our homepage, or you purchased one of our products. We hope that you'll want to continue receiving these! In this newsletter:

Fusion Menu 1.1.3 Released

ibContact Update

Partner Program Announcement

Fusion Menu 1.1.3 Released
Fusion Digital is pleased to announce the immediate availability of Fusion Menu 1.1.3. This is to be the last update in the 1.1.x series, and contains bug fixes and the introduction of support for icons in your primary navigation, a hotly requested feature!

If you're already a Fusion Menu customer, then you can download it from the Client Downloads area of the Fusion Digital community. Otherwise, Fusion Menu costs just $15 USD and is available now.

ibContact Update
We've had a few questions about ibContact, and we'd just like to point out that ibContact is still in development, and is expected to release later in the year. This is not a simple application, and as such we aren't able to give timelines at this point. You are of course welcome to make feature suggestions on our Company Feedback forums - in fact we encourage you to!

Partner Program Announcement
Do you design IP.Board skins or implement solutions based on IP.Board for customers? If so, this may interest you. Starting today, eligible organisations and individuals can apply for membership within the Fusion Digital partner program. As part of this program, you will receive complimentary access to Fusion Digital products*, and larger partners have the opportunity to enter into affiliate revenue share agreements. If you're interested, send an email to Fusion Digital Management (via the support ticket system) and we'll get in touch with you.

*Complimentary products are ionCube encoded.

We have been advised of an issue with 1.1.3 where the XML files for the Primary Navigation hook may cause "headers cannot be sent - content already started" errors. If you experience this issue, please download v1.1.4 which solves this issue. If you do not experience this issue, v1.1.4 is not required for your forum. Fusion Digital apologises for this inconvenience.
