For the last couple of years Chronicle has been available, we've been selling it via a company called FastSpring, in US dollars. While FastSpring was good, great even, their service wasn't really ideal for our needs (as the Inland Revenue Department pointed out). So during that time we've been biding our time, waiting for a mature platform to take over.
With the release of IP.Nexus 1.1 (the application we were using to sell our IP.Board applications), we are able to completely integrate our entire payment workflow (from purchase through provisioning) in such a way that we can now offer sales directly, via our own credit card processing solution provided by Direct Payment Solutions.
For any future purchases, Chronicle will now be charged directly by us, in New Zealand Dollars (and GST is now charged at point of sale, not retroactively invoiced - this was a serious pain for us!) As part of this, PayPal payments are no longer accepted without prior agreement with our sales team.
We are still looking to release an update to Chronicle shortly. Unfortunately it has taken much longer than expected, as we have literally ripped it apart and started from the ground up. We hope you'll be pleased with the results!
