Some of you have probably been asking "what's up with these new products coming out? Why the sudden focus on IP.Board modifications?"
Firstly, let me assure you - we are still working on Chronicle. This time around though, we want to get it right. We want Chronicle 1.1 to be so bug free and awesome, that you'll buy it - even if you don't need it. I'd share some ticket statistics with you regarding the most common issues with Chronicle 1.0, but Kayako 3 isn't the best at reporting (and Kayako 4 keeps getting bumped
). Suffice it to say, most of our tickets are related to projects not appearing which is usually related to the activeCollab API being in Read Only mode or the BaseCamp API being set to require SSL with SSL turned off in Chronicle options. Second most popular is the error message during first setup if you forget to select the connector to use.
So, onto the other question - why the sudden focus on IP.Board modifications? Mostly it's because - as you noticed - our community runs on IP.Board. Every modification we develop is because we saw a need for it ourselves, and realise that other people would benefit greatly from access to these. So, that said - let's introduce you to our lineup and just where we're going with these addons...

Fusion Menu is a very useful application, which is elegant in it's simplicity. With it, you can add a dropdown menu identical to the one on this community which you can configure from your board's ACP. Handy, right? We're pleased to say that it's been a raging success thus far. We're also pleased to note that at this time, our piracy rate is 0%. Yes, we know that's very much "for now". But we're ecstatic that out of dozens of purchasers, no one has shared our product illegally. Yay!
Upcoming features for this product include:

ibContact is something different entirely. Essentially, it's an application to integrate your member list with email marketing solutions like iContact, Constant Contact, or MailChimp. With this installed, you can replace IP.Board's Mass Mail system with any of the supported email marketing services, and send your campaign mail right from your ACP. Neat! Even better, it'll keep your campaign mailing list up to date with your IP.Board member list (note: it will explicitly refuse to add any members who have their "Receive email from the administrator" flag set to off). We won't go into detail on what features are upcoming, we'll let the website explain it for us. We expect v1.0 to be released this April, at a cost of $39.
Other ideas are rolling off the mill slowly and steadily as well, and if you have something you want to suggest to us you're more than welcome to.
