So, when I'm not working on IPB, an IPB application, or Chronicle, I like to play games, probably much like any other IT person in existence. So I picked up Fallout New Vegas thinking "surely after 3 years it can't be as buggy as their last release".
Boy was I wrong. So, the eternal question... and no, I don't mean The Answer to Life, the Universe and Everything. The eternal question is... for the Playstation 3, is there a Gamebryo game that doesn't suck? So far, out of all the games I own, three of them are based on that particular engine. Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, and Resident Evil 5. All three, have the same problems. Identical, down to the last minute detail. That's got to be about 4 years worth of games, all with the same faults. Funnily enough, they don't want feedback from us customers - only their enterprise clients who wouldn't dare say "hey, you know what? This engine sucks".
So this is really a bit of an invitation, since I hate hypocrisy. With any of our products, I actually want honest feedback. If you think the product sucks, say so. We're not just going to release the same thing in a new box 4 years later, and claim it's all fixed. Take a hint, game publishers.
